We would like to introduce a case where Nidec Corporation utilized 'modeFRONTIER' to improve the performance of brushless DC motors and fan motors. The company custom designs to meet the specific requests of each customer, so there are often opportunities to design magnetic components, including magnetizers and jigs, from scratch. Therefore, they are deriving Pareto solutions from all shape parameters using 'modeFRONTIER'. Before its introduction, they were verifying one parameter at a time, which took over a week to finalize the shape, but now they can narrow it down in about a day. They can also quickly grasp the contribution of all parameters, including interactions, comprehensively, allowing for much faster design progress in subsequent similar cases.
